Details
 We
begin the day with an introductory session over coffee at Alan's own Woodrising
Gallery in Broadford where Alan will outline the plans for the day and the proposed
locations. Typically we will visit two or three locations during the day.
Before
setting out to our first location. we will spend some time exploring the various
methods that can be employed in the production of high-quality photographs - methods
that will be put into practice on location.
|
 We
soon venture out on location, which will vary depending on the time of year and
the weather conditions, where Alan will spend time with everyone individually
ensuring that guidance is tailored to each photographer's objectives, interests
and level of experience. Alan will offer guidance in the basic creative controls
that provide the foundation for a more personal interpretation of the landscape.
We
are likely to have a lunch break after our first location before setting out to
further develop our skills at the afternoon locations. |
 We
will return to Woodrising Gallery around early evening for a round up of the day's
activities. Depending on the time of year, on conclusion of the workshop, you
may wish to venture out on your own with renewed inspiration to try and capture
a spectacular Skye sunset. You may even find that Alan grabs his own camera to
join you!
In summary, this workshop should provide you with the methods
and the inspiration to take your creative photography to a higher level. |
